At Compassionate Canine, every single service is designed around your dog’s emotional wellbeing and real-world success – with compassion at the forefront. These additional support services act as supplementary training, that are targeted towards you and your dog's specific goals, I’m constantly observing behaviour and communication signals, building confidence, facilitating enrichment, and reinforcing desired behaviours. Because of this level of skill and care, my rates reflect professional training insight, dedicated one-on-one work, and behaviour-aware handling that keeps your dogs safe, comfortable, and learning every time they’re with me.
This outing is designed for dogs needing more practice with specific real-world challenges (people, animals, bikes, stairs, cooperative care, noises, kids, busy areas, etc.).
What to expect: Systematic exposure with reinforcement games, decompression, and careful stimuli pacing. Purposeful, not pushy -
I will always prioritize your dog’s wellbeing. This is not ‘trial by fire’. I use distance management, slow exposure and practice, while rewarding timing, disengagement, confidence and skills.

This is for people who have just brought (or are planning on bringing) home a new dog or puppy and are needing guidance on the transition. The goal is to proactively set everyone up for success!
What to expect: We’ll work on building trust, consistent routines, management techniques, appropriate socialization, and skill building. 45min in length, usually 1/week.

This is for some quick care (bathroom break, medication, play & mental enrichment).
What to expect: Short visit designed for prioritizing your dog’s wellbeing, routine, and comfort. This includes a few mental stimulation games/exercises to enrich your dog’s time at home, general care tasks, and bathroom breaks. I will always monitor for any discomfort and behavioural changes when I stop by.
